JDH Contracting is MICCS Qualified!

On September 1, 2011, JDH Contracting earned Qualified status from the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS).  JDH joined MICCS as a member company level this year and then began the qualification process the results of which we received this past Thursday.

What does it mean to be MICCS Qualified?  In order to be qualified, a company must have a current EMR of 1.0 or less, have a three year calculation of TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate) and DART (Days Away, Restricted or Transferred) rates that are lower than the OSHA average for their industry and achieved 75% or higher on their safety program review.  The safety program review is a detailed examination of OSHA logs, safety manuals etc. that is submitted to MICCS for review.  JDH is listed on the MICCS website as Qualified which can be accessed by potential clients who are looking for safety oriented vendors.
